DIY Gift Wrap That’s Simple + Chic
I love creating beautiful things! It’s one of the reasons I work so hard on katrinatatae.com. This DIY Gift Wrap idea is simple, easy, chic and budget friendly.
I like to wrap everyone’s Christmas presents in the same themed wrapping paper every year. It makes it so much easier to know who is opening what gift Christmas morning! If you are stuck with wrapping ideas for the holidays, this is super simple and chic!
Being from Washington State, I love pulling elements of nature into my aesthetics. Plus, the packages will smell like Christmas when they arrive to their destination!
Let the crafting commence!
For this look, I used plain brown craft paper. You can find these at your local craft store, or try the post office! I used the twine I had on hand already. You can find it in the baking aisle in the grocery store. Try the garden section of a home improvement store too!
I found these beautiful greens at a local nursery. Many nurseries have great Christmas decor this time of year! They are also usually very helpful if you let them know what you are looking for. For this DIY Gift Wrap look, I went with Eucalyptus and (I think) Laurel branches.
For other greens to use, try any type of tree clippings like noble fir or cedar.
Some other DIY Gift Wrap looks you could do…
– craft paper + red berry branches + red ribbon
– plain white paper (take a think wrapping paper and turn it inside out) + black ribbon + cedar branches + cinnamon sticks
I hope this inspires you to create a beautiful presentation for your gifts this year! You are sure to make gifts feel that much more heart felt and special with this DIY Gift Wrap.
