My Stretching Routine

S-T-R-E-T-C-H those muscles – you worked hard girl!

Stretching has helped me not only prevent injury, but really helped in keeping my muscles nice and loose!  My stretching routine is something therapeutic I do after each workout.

Take a look at what I do to stretch out!

I hold each stretch for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.  I stretch AFTER my workout, when my muscles are nice and warm.  Think about your muscles like a rubber band…it is much easier to pull a warm rubber band than one that is ice cold.

I try and stretch each major muscle group, even if I didn’t work it out.

I wasn’t blessed to be very flexible, so I have to work on it.  Consistency is the key.
